Our 2016 Walk for Hunger Relief date has been set for October 9, 2016, and we need your help. Your participation in this outreach effort will benefit the Swannanoa Valley families and individuals who are in situations of hardship and need food. During 2015, SVCM provided food valued over $392,000; serving an average of 401 households, (approximately 1,019 people) each month. We spent over $47,000 on food in 2015, and expect to spend over $50,000 in 2016. The 2015 Walk for Hunger Relief raised $40,770. This year, the goal for the walk is $45,000 – and prayerfully more! Gentry Heating, Inc. will again match sponsor gifts of $250 and above up to a total of $7,000. Please help us meet this year’s goal and contribute today by clicking the donate button below.
